This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in civil engineering and project management.
As a Project Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions for infrastructure projects.
The job involves providing technical support for small-scale and less complex projects, as well as parts of medium to complex ones.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Technical Solutions: Developing new technical solutions that meet all requirements.
- Ensuring Feasibility and Safety: Ensuring the feasibility and safety of proposed solutions/methods and resulting specifications.
- Managing Project Scope: Determining the scope of engineering work for mainly small projects and/or less complex technical tenders or parts of complex projects.
- Monitoring Progress: Monitoring progress and identifying deviations in time demand for engineering capacity, quality or costs compared to planning requirements and budget.
- Improving Processes: Assisting and advising in the execution of tenders and projects sometimes on location.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Civil Engineering Degree: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Technical Experience: 35 years of relevant work experience including experience with relevant working methods, techniques and professional software and models.
- Project Management Skills: Relevant experience with project management and good command of English. Proficiency in Dutch is an asset.
- Software Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of ICT, office and planning applications with basic knowledge of drawing applications.
