We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our Department of Biology as an Assistant Professor in the field of molecular biology of aging.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct cutting-edge research in the molecular mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases.
  2. Develop and lead a vigorous, externally funded research program.
  3. Publish research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
  4. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in molecular biology and related fields.
  5. Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers within and outside the institution.
  7. Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities.
Requirements:
  1. Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field.
  2. Postdoctoral experience in aging research or a closely related area.
  3. A strong record of research accomplishments and publications in the field of aging.
  4. Demonstrated potential to secure external research funding.
  5. Experience in teaching and mentoring students.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Ph.D. in a relevant field.
