**Job Description**

The Data Center Infrastructure Expert at Delta Group is responsible for providing technical expertise and onsite support to our sales teams. This role involves detailed site visits, pre-sales consultation, solution design, product selection, and post-sales support for Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Batteries, Cooling Systems, and other critical power infrastructure in data centers and mission-critical facilities.

  • Detailed site visits are conducted to check the basic parameters as per project specifications.
  • Analyze the requirements and recommend suitable products from Delta's portfolio.
  • Prepare project BOQs for the sales team to pitch to clients.
  • Technical presentations explain the solution and compliance to project specs.
  • Testing and commissioning of units may be required.
  • Compliance and documentation are ensured.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in UPS and battery systems, cooling solutions, and data center application products.
  • Hands-on experience in UPS commissioning, technical support, or field engineering.
  • Certifications like CDCP, CDCDP, or PMP are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UPS topologies and battery technologies and calculations.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure components, including cooling, racks, PDUs, generators, and ATS.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and SLDs.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with sales and product management teams.
