About the Position

Ghobash Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Systems Specialist to lead our IC maintenance team. As a Senior IC Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of our instrumentation and control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of all instrumentation and control systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Monitor the performance of IC systems to ensure optimum reliability and minimal unplanned shutdowns.
  • Implement reliability improvement initiatives and continuous improvement processes for IC systems.
  • Manage the lifecycle of control systems to ensure timely upgrades or replacements to avoid obsolescence.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget for IC activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems maintenance within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise in IC systems and equipment; in-depth understanding of HSE principles and ADNOC standards; excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; strong communication and leadership abilities.
