We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Care Assistant - ER Specialist to join our team at University Hospital Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of biomedical clinical equipment and patient care systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for inputting and updating records on equipment installation, quality checks, preventive and corrective maintenance, and calibration.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit monthly reports on progress, delays, completed tasks, and issues related to corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate and supervise on-site medical service contractors to ensure quality of work and performance.
  • Equipment Quality Assurance: Ensure all biomedical clinical equipment and patient care systems are in good working condition for use and operation to the satisfaction of hospital customers and patients.
  • Technical Evaluation: Participate in the technical evaluation of proposed equipment for procurement and compare quality between products as required.
  • International Accreditation: Participate in all aspects of the International Accreditation program to assist University Hospital Sharjah in attaining and maintaining international accreditation standards.
  • Commissioning and Clinical Areas: Participate in commissioning assigned areas and associated clinical areas.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
