We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at BUTEC.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of construction site experience and fluency in English.
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and discussing lookahead planning with senior/section engineers, organizing, prioritizing, and assigning work to foremen and coordinating positively with other field personnel to avoid functional conflicts and ensure timely completion of work.
You will study and understand all drawings, specifications, method statements, material data sheets, safety practices, and other information/documentation relevant to your area of specialty and raise any incomprehensible issues to gain a full understanding of the job requirements.
In this role, you will communicate necessary information to foremen, provide them with technical assistance, and help them execute work at high quality standards and meet project requirements.
You will identify and agree with section engineers on planned productivity rates for each subsection, monitor their fluctuation throughout project execution, and take necessary measures to avoid exceeding acceptable limits.
This position involves close coordination with foremen to assess and provide needed resources, inform senior/section engineers, and make necessary follow-up to ensure requested resources are delivered on time and according to specifications.
You will monitor work execution based on specifications/requirements/standards, pinpoint discrepancies, review QA/QC reports, suggest corrective actions, and escalate critical issues promptly.
Additionally, you will participate in meetings held with clients/consultants, discuss construction matters as needed, and take advantage of on-the-job training opportunities to increase capability and skill level.
