Job Description:
As a Native Android Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and security experts, to create seamless and secure mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Android Development: Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Architecture and Design: Implement modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and frameworks (e.g., Jetpack, Coroutines) to ensure a clean, maintainable codebase.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize a comprehensive set of Android development tools and technologies, including Android Studio, Gradle, and SDKs, to build and debug applications.
- Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data exchange between the app and server.
- Security: Apply best practices for mobile security, including data encryption, secure authentication, and adherence to OWASP guidelines, to safeguard user information.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize application performance to ensure responsiveness and smooth user experiences.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit and UI tests to ensure high-quality code and use testing frameworks, such as Espresso and JUnit, to identify and resolve bugs.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices and continuously incorporate new technologies into your work.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design and product teams to translate user requirements and business goals into technical specifications and deliverable features.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 3 years of professional experience in Native Android development.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
- Extensive experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (e.g., Live Data, View Model, Room).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Strong understanding of mobile security practices.
- Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., databases, server-side scripting) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
