Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at WizeJob. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and screening patients, analyzing data, and developing treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Screening: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing to diagnose patients.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Analyze data and results of assessments to diagnose patients and develop treatment plans, including prescribing and administering medications as needed.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor patients to determine the efficacy and potential side effects of medications and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Complete all necessary clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner and collaborate with a broader team of physicians, psychologists, and nurses to assess and adjust treatment plans.
  • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with case managers and other stakeholders about treatment and care.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Current and valid board certification in psychiatry and a medical degree from an accredited medical school with completion of an approved psychiatric residency.
  • Licensure: Licensed to practice medicine in the country/state of practice.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Excellent knowledge and familiarity with current specialty developments, strong working knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practices, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
