Job Description

The Senior Accountant - Accounts Receivable will support the Assistant Manager Accounts Receivable by performing day-to-day activities in the Accounts Receivable function of the Finance Department.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all queries from students and/or their representatives are attended to and clarified in a timely manner.
  • Record and book day-to-day data entries accurately in students' accounts, including payments, deferments, financial holds, document release holds, etc.
  • Maintain healthy records through periodic reconciliations.
  • C coordinate with internal business partners to issue invoices and follow up on payments.
  • Follow up on payments for invoices issued to customers, sponsors, and business partners, generating related reports as required.
  • Manage signed contracts and coordinate with Procurement for outlets on campus, handling all their financial matters, including issuing invoices, maintaining sales records, and following up on payments.
  • Coordinate with the scholarship office, Exchange Students Office, sponsor representatives, and outlets on campus to ensure that all issues are promptly addressed.
  • Collaborate with other sections in Finance and departments at AUS to maintain registration periods.
  • Assist the AR Assistant Manager with accounts receivable aging analysis and other reports/analysis.
  • Update the ODAA invoice payment status report monthly and communicate it to the ODAA office.
