Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Head of Risk to develop and implement risk models for quantifying overall risk exposure on market making books and prop books.
- Roll out and monitor agreed market risk frameworks for managing market risks.
- Ensure relevant risk measures, controls, and processes are in place, and run a daily monitoring and reporting process for stakeholders.
- Ensure transparent risk decisions and provide rationales in a professional manner, especially when turning down proposals.
- Produce regular or ad-hoc market risk activity reports, information, and analysis for management.
- Support new product approvals through market risk identification, measurement, limit setting, and monitoring for breaches.
- Assist the Head of Risk in managing QCP's risk profile and regulatory relationships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with developments.
- Reports to the Head of Risk.
