Job Overview

As a Cash Handling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transaction Management: Execute returns and special transactions via the POS system, ensuring all promotional offers are accurately applied prior to guest charges.
  • Stock Maintenance: Keep the cash register area fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Issue Reporting: Inform management of any POS system issues encountered by guests.
  • Cash Drawer Management: Maintain a consistently balanced cash drawer throughout your shift.
  • Payment Processing: Handle guest payments through various methods including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and gift vouchers.
  • Check Closure: Ensure all waitstaff finalize any open checks before their daily reports are generated.
  • Envelope Preparation: Complete all waitstaff envelopes at the end of each shift, including calculations for credit card totals, cash totals, and tips.
  • Revenue Calculations: Conduct end-of-service calculations, as well as end-of-shift and end-of-day revenue assessments.
  • Additional Duties: Perform related tasks as requested by the management team.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Report to work as scheduled, accommodating various shifts including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
  • Supervision: Oversee the activities of the Assistant Cashier.
  • Payroll Management: Responsible for the monthly payroll of the team.
