Rotating Equipment Design and Development Expert

About the Job:

New Sourcing International (NSI) is seeking a highly experienced Principal Mechanical Expert to lead our rotating equipment design and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of at least three of the following rotating equipment/packaging: Centrifugal Pumps, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Screw Compressors, Gas Turbines, Utility Packages (Instrument Air, Nitrogen Generation, Steam Generators), Water Treatment Packages, Refrigeration Packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work for large-sized projects or proposals.
  • Provide necessary technical information and support for procurement of all rotating equipment and related packages.
  • Adhere to project schedules and determine methods and solutions for complex engineering problems.
  • Apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses within the discipline to serve as a technical specialist when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 18 years of detail design engineering-related experience from a background in working for consultancy organizations or EPC for the petrochemical or Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Possess good knowledge of relevant API codes and standards.
  • Ability to grasp other international standards as demanded by work.
