Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence:
  1. You will lead the development and implementation of processes and systems that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across EM.
  2. Collaborate with our Internal Communications team to develop a clear and compelling narrative around our EM strategy and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to our EM leadership team on matters related to market analysis, competitor intelligence, and industry trends.
Head Office Collaboration:
  1. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our Head Office on all matters related to EM, including project coordination, stakeholder management, and communication.
  2. Support the EM leadership team in driving engagement and understanding of Leadership Team priorities and action plans across various communication channels.
Strategic Partnerships:
  1. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Market Intelligence providers and strategic partners.
  2. Develop and manage business cases for new initiatives and business models, ensuring alignment with company objectives and key performance indicators.

Key Relationships:

Internal:

  • EM and EMEA Business Development teams.
  • EM Functional Teams.
  • Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and HR hub teams.
  • EM Internal Communications.

External:

  • Market Intelligence providers, e.g., Euromonitor, MEA Business Group.
  • Strategic partners.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects, ideally with Marketing, Sales or Operations experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational skills.
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen.
  • Proven leadership track record and managerial skills.
  • High personal impact and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English essential. Additional languages a benefit.
  • Professional experience in the Middle East and wider Emerging Markets a distinctive advantage.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within relevant industries and/or consulting industry.
  • Experience in sporting goods or retail a benefit.
  • Experience with the commercial side of a business an advantage.
  • Experience in successfully leading, managing, and developing a team.
  • Business degree from a leading academic institution, MBA an advantage.
