We are seeking an experienced Cargo Operations and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Etihad Airways. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable customs and security regulations across our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish advanced customs information (ACI) submission to relevant customs authorities.
  • Establish advanced security Pre-Loading Air Cargo Information (PLACI) submission to relevant security and boarder force authorities.
  • Monitor, steer and report on Advanced Cargo Information (ACI) and Pre-Loading Air Cargo Information (PLACI) performance via a dedicated third-party team.
  • Manage non-compliance cases and potential fines and penalties with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce comprehensive investigation reports and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant area.
  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience in airline or ground handling operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
  • Qualifications around operations management and specialization in customs and security regulation.
