We are seeking an experienced Emergency Pediatrician Expert to join our team at SEHA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, head injuries, trauma, infections, and life-threatening conditions.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will work closely with emergency medical teams (EMTs), paramedics, and other hospital departments to manage pediatric emergencies.
- They will be responsible for administering medications, performing life-saving procedures, and managing critical care interventions.
- Additionally, they will provide emotional support and counseling to anxious children and their families, helping them understand medical procedures and diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and Treating Pediatric Patients: Administering medications, performing life-saving procedures, and managing critical care interventions.
- Coordinating with Other Specialists: Working closely with other specialists, such as pediatric surgeons, neurologists, and cardiologists, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Communicating with Families: Communicating clearly with parents or caregivers about their child's condition, treatment plans, and any necessary follow-up care.
Required Qualifications
- A medical degree and the successful completion of a residency and internship.
- A state license and certification to practice medicine.
- Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses, particularly in pediatric patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
