About the Role

This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of one or more stores within the airport, ensuring operational excellence and optimal performance across all functions. The successful candidate will be able to drive sales performance, deliver customer satisfaction, and lead high-performing teams.

  • Drive Sales and Maximize Profitability: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, monitor sales performance from cash points, and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Deliver WOW Experience: Create a unique and memorable customer experience that delights and engages every shopper.
  • Develop Team/People: Foster a culture of entrepreneurship and ownership within the team, encourage learning and development opportunities, and establish succession plans to ensure leadership continuity.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with store SOPs, manage rotas to optimize staffing levels, and reconcile ADAC vouchers and ensure all transactions comply with audit requirements.
  • Drive Innovation and Productivity: Encourage and implement innovative ideas to enhance productivity and motivate the team to contribute to ongoing productivity improvements.
  • Promotion Implementation and Analysis: Coordinate and execute promotional activities, monitor and analyse promotion performance, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
