Key Responsibilities- Shift Handover Reports: Ensure daily shift handover reports are well-documented, capturing tasks and activities accomplished and pending for further action.
- EFB System Management: Update and manage EFB Systems, including hardware and software, to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation Management: Update documentation on-board aircraft and training facilities, including Full Flight Simulators, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Inspection and Quality Control: Regularly inspect documentation libraries in aircraft and ground premises to identify and close findings, ensuring quality control and adherence to regulations.
- EFB Mounts and Support: Deliver EFB Mounts and provide primary-level support to ensure operational readiness.
- EFB Configuration and Software Embodiment: Ensure EFB configurations for installed systems are clearly reviewed and maintained for every EFBU Cycle, and deliver EFB Software packages on-time for recurring EFBU Cycles.
- Device Management: Manage EFB devices in custody to ensure operational readiness.
- User Support: Acknowledge and support user queries without delay, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Hardware and Software Configuration: Ensure hardware and software applications are configured in accordance with applicable requirements, and their output complies with regulations.
- EFB System Knowledge: Maintain profound working knowledge of the EFB system's hardware, operating system, and installed software applications.
- Quality Control Function: Perform Quality Control function by routine monitoring of the EFB system and its administration.
- Aircraft Onboard Systems Management: Visit aircraft onboard systems regularly to manage EFB configuration and support queries from Engineering (MCC & LM).
- Subject Matter Expert Liaison: Liaise with Subject Matter Experts of all applications and datasets to ensure EFB is serviced with updated and accurate standards and datasets.
- LSAP Management: Ensure only valid versions of Loadable Software Airplane Part (LSAP) are installed on the EFB system.
- Data Update Cycles: Manage data update cycles and ensure updates are completed on or before the cut-over date.
- EFB Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Provide support to Manager EFB - Aircraft and Ground Technologies in evaluating and implementing new EFB technologies and enhancements within the Etihad Fleet.
- Supervision and Autonomy: Must be able to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Degree-level education desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years Airline or OEM Experience.
- Driving License: Valid driving license is an added advantage.
- EFB Systems Knowledge: Proficient level knowledge of the EFB Systems on Ground and Aircraft.
- Computer Networks: Proficient understanding of Computer Networks.
- Aviation Data Standards: Advanced level knowledge of Aviation Data standards and their relevance to EFB.
- OEM Trainings: Attended OEM conducted Trainings, Workshops, and Vendor symposiums on EFB Systems.
