Backend Engineer - Senior Level

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Server-Side Application Development: Develop and maintain server-side application logic to support our software solutions.
  2. Front-End Collaboration: Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate front-end elements and components with the server-side logic.
  3. Code Quality: Write high-quality, readable, and testable code that meets coding standards and best practices.
  4. Application Optimization: Design and optimize applications for high performance, availability, and low latency to enhance user experience.
  5. Security and Data Protection: Implement security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  6. Data Storage Solutions: Incorporate data storage solutions such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc., to manage and store application data effectively.
  7. Team Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups with the team to discuss progress, challenges, and priorities.
  8. Support Operations Teams: Provide support to Service Ops, DevOps, and QA teams by assisting with queries and testing tasks.
  9. Code Review: Conduct code reviews for junior developers to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and knowledge sharing.
  10. Code Deployment: Facilitate code merging and deployment processes through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 5+ years of minimum experience on Node JS.
  2. Agile Performance: Contribute to the high performance of the agile-development lifecycle by ensuring productive, consistent, and successful sprints by working to reduce blocking issues for the team.
  3. Code Maintenance: Maintain existing code base by identifying and correcting defects.
  4. Participation: Participate in discovery calls and requirement gatherings.
  5. Requirements Translation: Translate business requirements into applications by implementing the best strategy to ensure the design meets performance, usability, reliability, and scalability standards with the help of team members.
  6. Unit Testing: Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
