Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Pantry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
  2. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  3. Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest needs and resolving issues in a professional manner
  4. Work closely with other team members to achieve excellent service delivery and maintain a positive work environment
  5. Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining par stocks
  6. Perform cash handling duties, verifying transactions and managing cash securely
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, training colleagues on new techniques and products
  8. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  9. Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture, promoting a sense of belonging among colleagues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Hotel Management or Business Degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Point of Sale systems and basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
