This position requires an individual with extensive experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, construction trades, or AC maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing complex equipment and systems in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installs, repairs, and replaces complex water supply lines using glued plastic, compression fittings, soldered copper tubing, or threaded pipe.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs facility equipment, including turnstiles, security access gates, truck scales, and more.
  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks on buildings and grounds equipment, as well as assists other technicians with troubleshooting and repair.
  • Uses appropriate tools, materials, and methods to perform mechanical tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs compressor air ends, pumps, gear boxes, and major components on facility support equipment.
  • Identifies and repairs moderately complex electrical problems with production equipment electrical systems.
  • Applies understanding of complex control sequences to identify system failures/problems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; 4+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, construction trades, or AC maintenance preferred.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, as well as strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail.
  • Initiative and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-20 to 130 degrees) and lift/carry 75 lbs.
