Key Responsibilities:
  1. Piloting vessels through designated channels and harbors.
  2. Handling high-tonnage vessels, including VLCCs and tankers.
  3. Coordinating with ships, pilots, and port control towers via radio systems.
  4. Ensuring secure mooring to the berth using tugs.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Competency and Endorsement as an unlimited Master Mariner (FG).
  • STCW certificates.
  • At least five years of experience in unlimited pilotage, particularly handling VLCCs at prominent ports.
