About the Role

This overseas opportunity allows a Senior Legal Counsel to provide support for policy advocacy tasks, including:

  1. Analyzing complex issues
  2. Comparing, translating, and interpreting advocacy issues
  3. Reviewing drafts of new laws or amendments to existing laws
  4. Identifying opportunities for improving departmental systems, policies, processes, and practices based on international best practices

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager in policy advocacy functions and activities, contributing to creating a favorable business environment aligned with the client's vision and strategic objectives.

This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security, and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and deliver high-quality services.

About you

To be successful, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's degree in a relevant field. You should also possess established knowledge of policy making and policy advocacy processes. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory for this role. Our preference is for candidates with +6 years of experience in civil law, common law, and local law. The ideal candidate should be committed, resilient, passionate about law, and dedicated.
