Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment and tools, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Carry out tasks such as carrying equipment, operating shut-off valves, and maintaining inventory.
  • Communicate daily activities and any issues that arise to other shifts using approved communication protocols.
  • Display knowledge and skills in areas such as air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Perform tasks such as painting, minor drywall repair, and light bulb replacement.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, and other guestroom items.
  • Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system when performing maintenance work.
  • Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, as well as external landscaping sprinklers.
  • Display basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
