Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of Islamic banking principles and Shari'ah standards. As an Internal Shari'ah Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying areas for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct internal Shari'ah audits to ensure compliance with AAOIFI standards and ISSC.
  2. Lead and assist in the development of audit plans, including risk assessments and terms of reference.
  3. Perform process walk-throughs to identify gaps and design flaws.
  4. Develop recommendations for improving Shari'ah governance processes.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Islamic banking principles, Shari'ah standards, and audit methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and process evaluations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to detect vulnerabilities and develop strategic solutions.
