Job Overview

To succeed as an Operations Supervisor in our Fishing and Milling Operations team at Weatherford, you will be responsible for managing a range of open and cased hole fishing, casing exit, and well abandonment tools in the field. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet clients’ requirements for upcoming job discussions and develop a thorough understanding of their needs.
  • Supervise Fishing Engineers and provide guidance and support on site to ensure successful project completion.
  • Work closely with internal managers and customer representatives to plan work activities and schedules.
  • Regularly monitor equipment-operating parameters and collaborate with client representatives to identify operational limitations and safety issues.
  • Review upcoming forecast and demand for tools and inventory to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Apply technical knowledge to calculate oil industry volumes, pressures, and forces.
  • Participate in safety meetings and maintain a strong focus on safety protocols.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the team’s success.
  • Deliver high-quality job reports and BHA diagrams in a timely manner.
  • Be available on a 24-hour call basis to support emergency situations.
  • Understand and adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
  • Maintain high-quality work assignments and strive for excellence in all aspects of the job.


Requirements

  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel computer skills are required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the team.
  • Able to work closely with fellow employees and maintain a positive team environment.
  • General product knowledge and mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs.
  • Valid Driver license is required for on-site work.
  • Good knowledge of Fishing and downhole tools is essential.
  • Prior work experience as a driller and/or in fishing and milling operations is necessary.
  • Supervisory skills and experience are preferred.
  • Self-motivator, self-starter with a strong work ethic.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 7-8 years oilfield experience is necessary.
  • 2-5 years related Fishing experience is required.
