Job Description

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to improve our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and develop solutions to improve systems and processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and processes
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management, business analysis, system engineering, and/or IT requirements management
  • Well-developed analytical, diagnostic, and system-thinking skills
  • Experience working on systems integration projects that span hardware and software solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Ability to develop artifacts to support requirements documentation
  • Experience with agile requirements management tools
  • Experience in business process improvement and reengineering
  • Experience working in an agile software development framework
  • Education: Master's degree or equivalent work experience in IT/information systems, business administration, computer science, or mathematics
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, for which one must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting business and/or system analysis on Navy software and systems
  • Experience defining requirements for or working with RFID scanner technology
  • Understanding of military inventory and asset management principles and business processes
  • Experience integrating and/or customizing consumer-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology into an enterprise system
  • Experience conducting business analysis and defining system and user requirements for enterprise resource and asset management software or systems
  • Experience in business and/or system analysis to support cloud migration and/or technical stack modernization efforts
  • Familiarity with industry best practices regarding cloud infrastructure, system availability/reliability requirements, application scalability, and system migration
  • Experience with GitLab as an agile project management tool
  • Experience working in a scaled agile framework (e.g., SAFe)
  • Professional industry standard certification in business analysis (e.g., CCBA, Agile Product Owner, Agile Analysis Certification)
  • Professional industry standard certification in human-centered design
  • Professional industry standard certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
