Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Lawyer to join our team as SVP & Head of Legal - GGC Office. The role will be responsible for managing legal risk associated with the matters handled by the Group General Counsel Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice to support the effective operation of the FAB Group's business.
  • Managing legal risk associated with the FAB Group's activities.
  • Supporting the Group General Counsel in preparing and managing the Legal Department's budget.
  • Collaborating with other lawyers in the FAB Group Legal Department to ensure the effective resolution of all legal matters affecting the FAB Group.

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Lawyer who has a strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in law from an internationally recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable bank or law firm, preferably in corporate governance and/or corporate law.
  • Skills: Fluent in Arabic (spoken & written) and excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
