We are seeking a highly skilled A/V Technician to join our team at PALAZZO VERSACE HOTEL L.L.C. As an A/V Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and video equipment for various events, meetings, and presentations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install and operate audio and video equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, and related electronic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues with sound boards, adjust levels, and ensure seamless operation during events or presentations.
  • Maintain and repair all audio, visual, lighting, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate with event planners, producers, and other staff to ensure audiovisual requirements are met.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of audiovisual equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with new audiovisual technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Work closely with the IT department to integrate audiovisual systems with the hotel's network for streaming and conferencing capabilities.
  • Document all activities, including daily logbooks, shop drawings, and equipment catalogues.
  • Assist in setting up and operating AV equipment for various events and meetings.
  • Be aware of recreation facilities, evening programs, and show timings.
  • Operate projection systems, visual splitters, build truss construction, wireless microphones, and setting up frequencies, use light desk, DMX addresses, programming light desk, connecting DMX splitter, managing the show.
  • Maintain an archive for hotel music (entertainment activities, night club, lobby, restaurant, bars).
