Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting the Line Manager in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as assigned. The successful candidate will participate in the preventative maintenance program, handle guest requests, and perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, they will assist with property maintenance work to ensure effective and adequate operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a Safe Workplace Environment: Maintain a workplace environment that is free from risks to health and safety.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety Policies: Ensure adherence to and regular review of Health and Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as per UAE Legal and DCD requirements.
  • Risk Assessments and Accidents: Conduct regular risk assessments for work equipment and operations, document and investigate accidents, and implement recommended improvements.
  • Safety Inspections and Training: Conduct safety inspections, manage fire drills and alarms, and ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Health and Safety Policies and Procedures: Coordinate the development of health and safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
  • Training and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate health and safety training records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation.
