Role Overview:

The NRI Wealth Management Specialist will oversee and expand a portfolio of affluent non-resident Indian (NRI) clients. This position entails offering personalized financial guidance, investment oversight, and wealth management services that cater to the distinct requirements of NRI clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture enduring relationships with high-net-worth NRI clients.
  • Comprehend clients' financial aspirations, risk appetite, and investment inclinations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and updates with clients to ensure their financial strategies align with their goals.

Financial Advisory:

  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning and advisory services, including retirement planning, tax efficiency, estate management, and educational funding strategies.
  • Design and execute customized investment strategies that align with clients' financial objectives.

Investment Management:

  • Construct and oversee tailored investment portfolios, ensuring diversification and alignment with clients' risk profiles.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate investment performance, making necessary adjustments to enhance returns.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the NRI market.
  • Organize seminars, webinars, and networking events to attract prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to devise marketing strategies targeting the NRI segment.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all advisory activities adhere to local and international regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and their implications for clients' financial strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory, focusing on high-net-worth clients with a transferable client portfolio and AUM.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and wealth management tools.
  • Strong understanding of the financial and regulatory landscape affecting NRI clients.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record in business development and client acquisition.
