About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the medical and functional status of geriatric patients, developing and implementing effective treatment plans to address their unique needs.
  • Care Planning: Design and implement comprehensive care plans that address a wide range of health issues, from chronic disease management to preventive care.
  • Communication and Education: Communicate complex medical information to patients and their families, while also educating them on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Continuing Education: Stay informed about advancements in geriatric medicine, maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, with board certification in Geriatric Medicine.
  • A valid medical license to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a geriatric medicine setting, with strong knowledge of geriatric syndromes, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A commitment to continuing education and staying current with medical advancements.
