As a Financial Accountant at Al-Futtaim, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, while maintaining compliance with internal and financial control regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Process PO and non-PO based invoices for local third-party vendors, ensuring VAT compliance and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Financial Control: Implement and maintain internal controls, compliance, and financial processes at FSSC (Procurement, AP, systems, etc.), adopting best practices and process improvements.
- Technical Expertise: Possess thorough knowledge of SAP Invoice Processing accounting, tcodes, and underlying transaction basis, ensuring daily targets are met for processing.
- Reporting and Analysis: Work with the IT demand manager to automate reports and ensure real-time availability, providing insights for business decision-making.
- Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (BBA Finance, BCom, Inter CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Experience with ERP (preferably SAP – FICO, BPC, BI, etc.) and information systems, including planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience: 5-7 years of well-rounded experience in the field of Accounts Payable, with a solid understanding of finance and accounting standards (IFRS), processes, infrastructure, and systems (SAP FICO).
