Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiothoracic surgery and be able to provide comprehensive and diligent care to patients, including pre- and post-operative care and surgical procedures.
  • Assume After-Hours Responsibility: The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of cardiothoracic cases after hours and make daily rounds for those hospitalized.
  • Provide Consultation Services: As a cardiothoracic surgeon specialist, you will provide consultation services to physicians and other surgeons and specialists as required.
  • Order Diagnostic Studies: You will be responsible for ordering diagnostic laboratory studies and X-ray examinations, determining the diagnosis and prescribing applicable therapy.
  • Evaluate Patient Eligibility: Our ideal candidate will determine the eligibility of patients for admission and identify the need for tests or follow-up visits.
  • Support Continuous Quality Improvement: You will support the hospital's Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and exercise effective interpersonal skills in dealings with department staff, associates, and management.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: The successful candidate will maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and administrative matters of a confidential nature.
  • Exhibit Dependability: Our ideal candidate will evidence dependability in carrying out the commitments and obligations of the position.
