Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Action Hospitality. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Repair Plumbing Systems: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances, including pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
  • Inspect and Troubleshoot: Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions for repairs or replacements. Diagnose plumbing problems and perform troubleshooting to identify the root cause of issues, such as leaks, clogs, or low water pressure.
  • Develop and Execute Repair Plans: Develop effective repair plans and execute solutions to restore plumbing systems to proper working condition.
  • Maintain and Inspect: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains, inspecting pipes for corrosion or damage, and lubricating fittings. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Respond to Emergency Calls: Respond to emergency plumbing calls, such as burst pipes, sewage backups, or gas leaks, to provide timely repairs and minimize damage.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate with customers to understand their plumbing needs, explain repair options, and provide estimates for services.
  • Document Work: Document work performed, including repairs, replacements, and installations, using written reports or electronic records.
Requirements

  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
