The Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in developing and shaping the finance function. The role will be responsible for a team of senior accountants, and for general ledger management which will include month and year end closes, and reporting. The individual will report to the Financial Controller.

  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements (income, balance sheet etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in local financial and taxation policies, handle tax planning, local tax declaration, submitting audit reports to authorities
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory, legal requirements
  • Manage a team of senior accountants.

Requirements

  • CPA, ACA, CMA or ACCA qualified
  • Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience of the UAE is an advantage. Arabic language is not a requirement
  • Degree in finance, accounting or a related field
