Overview:
The Configuration Management Associate plays a vital role in assisting project teams with their configuration needs, preparing essential documentation, and ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of the Data Management Systems (DMS). This position is responsible for organizing and disseminating all company-related documents in compliance with established policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to comprehend their configuration requirements and provide necessary support in establishing and baselining project components.
- Implement control measures to guarantee the accuracy of Product Data information.
- Compile Data Packs for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional data integrity and quality.
- Oversee and safeguard the quality, integrity, and security of data within the Configuration Management (CM) database.
- Manage and distribute all company information in alignment with HALCON's Policies and Procedures.
- Conduct audits to verify the completeness and accuracy of data packs.
- Maintain oversight of the Product Data Index (PDI) and Document Data Index (DDI), ensuring their precision.
- Generate reports on configuration status as needed.
- Engage with senior Configuration Management officers to uphold, govern, and administer CM Procedures and Policies.
Qualifications:
- Essential: At least 5 years of experience in configuration management or document control as a Junior Officer or Configuration Assistant. Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma.
- Technical background: National Technical N-Diploma (N4-N6).
- Desirable: Over 2 years of experience in an Aerospace or Defence setting. Preferred educational qualification: Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
- Strong skills in data integrity and analysis.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management.
- Experience in document control.
- Knowledge of CM II Baseline and Closed-Loop change processes.
