Responsibilities
  • Facilitate regular Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) meetings and drills at the operational site.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of HSE activities.
  • Oversee and analyze HSE performance metrics.
  • Prioritize HSE considerations for all contractors and subcontractors associated with the organization.
  • Act as the primary contact for incident and accident investigations.
  • Develop and implement bridging documents and emergency response plans in collaboration with the drilling team at the site.
  • Enforce the Work Permit system at the operational site.
  • Conduct routine HSE inspections, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are executed.
  • Perform regular road safety inspections and communicate observations to enhance driving safety to the site.
  • Monitor incidents and accidents in the field, ensuring compliance with the organization's reporting protocols.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the drilling sector, with exposure to international operations.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity is highly valued.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
