We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Emirates Grand Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Housekeeping Department and ensuring that all aspects of guest room and public area cleaning, laundry, and linen management are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Direct and coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping Department, including host relations, guest room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry operations.
- Guest Services: Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, and that guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Laundry and Linen Management: Oversee the laundry operations, including the collection, washing, drying, and delivery of guest laundry, as well as the management of hotel linen.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure that orders are placed and received in a timely manner.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including host selection, training, evaluation, and development.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and that the department operates within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the quality of housekeeping services, including guest room cleanliness, public area maintenance, and laundry operations.
- Environmental Awareness: Implement and maintain environmentally friendly practices in the housekeeping department, including waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff; excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
