**Job Summary**

The Environmental Manager will be responsible for leading our environmental advisory team to ensure the highest level of technical quality, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.

This role requires a strong leader who can oversee project delivery, manage staff, and develop business opportunities within the environmental discipline.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the health and safety of staff within your discipline.
  • Business Development: Support other sector leads and drive business development within your discipline.
  • Commercial: Track and review commercial performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines.
  • People Management: Lead regular team meetings, mentor staff, and support career progression.

Requirements:

  • BSc and MSc degree level qualified in an environmental or engineering discipline.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IEMA) and preferably chartered status.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in managing large complex environmental projects.
  • Experience working in an international consultancy.
  • Experience in undertaking air dispersion or noise modeling could be advantageous.
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines and have a flexible mindset.
