The Design Manager - Infrastructure role plays a crucial part in achieving this vision. As the lead for design works completed in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire process, from preparation and development of Prequalification Documents / Criteria and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to managing and administering design and consultancy services agreements throughout the design cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Development: You will lead the process of preparing and developing pre-concept and concept development schemes for Ports and Marine developments in terms of layouts, operational planning and sizing of facilities and assets.
- Design and Consultancy Services: You will manage and administer design and consultancy services agreements throughout the design cycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and capturing end-user needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You will actively engage with stakeholders, including end-users and asset owners, to support the distillation of business needs for development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Design Management of civil infrastructure and master plan projects.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations, and proficiency in specific engineering software.
