Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expertise and technical advice for all works related to archaeological survey, excavation, exploration, and studies related to antiquities
  • Preparing regulations, policies, and work guides for antiquities to develop archaeological sites, ensuring their protection and preservation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, History, or a related field
  2. 5 to 7+ years of relevant working experience in archaeological survey, excavation, exploration, and research
  3. Experience in developing and implementing operational plans for archaeological preservation and site management
  4. Knowledge of financial and operational matters related to cultural heritage and archaeological preservation
  5. Proven ability to negotiate and develop partnerships at local and international levels
  6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find workable solutions and resolve complaints
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
  8. Experience in supervising the classification, registration, and documentation of artifacts
  9. Ability to participate in strategic planning, policy development, and the management of archaeological sites
