Job Description:

The Senior Content Editor for Retail Brands will be responsible for creating high-quality content across all channels, including newsletters, homepages, SMS, and press releases. This role requires a strong understanding of luxury fashion, designers, brands, culture, and trends in the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a Style Guide and Tone of Voice for all retail brand portfolio
  • Update glossary input and translation repository enhancements
  • Deliver copy across all consumer channels, ensuring messaging is aligned and on-brand
  • Collaborate with in-house creatives to develop digital and offline content
  • Upload content via content management system (CMS)
  • Analyze industry best practices and knowledge of SEO
  • Support cross-functional teams by responding to ad-hoc copy requests

Requirements:

  • Degree in Foreign Languages, Marketing, Communication, or similar field
  • 4+ years of experience as a copywriter, content editor, and/or language specialist
  • Strong fluency in English, familiarity with UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, or Lebanese dialects (if required)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate, experienced in working in localization projects for e-commerce websites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge of national and international men's and women's fashion, designers, brands, and trends
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient user of Excel and Google Docs
