Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and one year of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures, radiation safety, quality control, and performance improvement practices. Ability to assess patient needs and determine the appropriate radiopharmaceutical and procedure to use.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate nuclear medicine and PET/CT cameras, computers, and laboratory equipment. Knowledge of and ability to use the ChristianaCare Health Services Clinical Care System.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, co-workers, management, physicians, nursing, and other ancillary staff.
  • Professional Certifications: Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). ARRT (CT) certification for a PET/CT technologist and obtained within 3 years of hire for a Nuclear Medicine technologist at Christiana Hospital.
