**Job Title:** Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at MatchaTalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. **Provide Technical Support:** Offer technical assistance and guidance to maintenance staff to resolve power system-related issues and ensure optimal system performance.
  2. **Design Reviews:** Conduct thorough design reviews and provide constructive comments on capital projects throughout the project cycle, including design basis scoping papers, project proposals, and detailed design packages.
  3. **Site Activities:** Perform site activities such as field engineering, pre-commissioning support, commissioning, and startup to ensure smooth project execution.
  4. **Technical Support:** Provide technical support for all field power systems at our facilities and maintain ETAP models for all plants to ensure accurate system modeling.
  5. **Conceptual Design:** Prepare conceptual design packages and engineering budgetary cost estimates to support project planning and execution.
  6. **Power System Design:** Develop and review power system designs for new projects and extensions to existing systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  7. **Installation and Commissioning:** Review installation, site commissioning, and factory acceptance testing for low and high voltage transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and control gear to ensure proper system integration.
  8. **UPS and Battery Systems:** Analyze components, design parameters, installation, operation, and maintenance requirements of UPS, DC, and battery systems to ensure optimal system performance.
  9. **Calculation Studies:** Advise on calculation study results and lead the implementation of recommendations to optimize conceptual power system design based on system studies.
  10. **PMS Software:** Resolve issues with power monitoring system (PMS) software to ensure accurate system monitoring and data analysis.
  11. **Project Specifications:** Provide project specifications and demonstrate operations and maintenance procedures to ensure smooth project handover.
