Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with fellow counselors and department leaders to create and implement monthly initiatives aimed at enhancing students' emotional well-being and academic proficiency.
  • Lead group workshops on pertinent subjects and provide tailored support to students and their families, collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Facilitate professional development sessions focused on child safeguarding for faculty and staff.
  • Enforce and support the Child Safeguarding and Protection policy as required.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of international university admission requirements for students transitioning from American high schools.
  • Experience and understanding of various mental health challenges.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and manage emergencies with professionalism.
  • Strong grasp of child development principles and effective strategies for supporting student success.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools.
  • Capacity to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
