Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical, psychological, and environmental needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' abilities and independence. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' physical, psychological, and environmental needs through assessments and interviews.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' identified needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination and treatment outcomes.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records to ensure regulatory compliance and quality care.
  • Provide emotional support and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapy license or DOH eligibility (mandatory).
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital/rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations.
