We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Digital Engineering Director. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in digital design management in large-scale real estate development.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in Digital Design Management and 2+ years in managerial level positions. They will be knowledgeable in net zero, carbon neutral, sustainability, and safety principles, as well as data ecosystems, Building Information Modelling (BIM), virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, non-fungible tokens, GIS, digital twin, generative design, Industry 4.0, cognitive technologies, and artificial intelligence.

The successful candidate will be capable of managing multi-disciplinary skilled teams and personnel both internally and externally. They will demonstrate effective experience in the definition of streamlined procedural workflows to aid in expediting data exchanges between technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a BIM roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Implement and own the Aldar Organizational Information Requirements.
  • Define project-specific Project Information Requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, asset management, and product supply chain.
  • Establish a definitive digital asset and product level of definition.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within facilities, asset, and project management.
  • Work with Group Digital Services and the Centre of Excellence.
  • Support HR in defining the BIM learning and talent development approach.
  • Maintain awareness of BIM trends and innovations.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and champion digital innovation.
