Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out complex diagnostic repairs as per manufacturer's standards, adhering to work instructions and maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Foster a culture of 'Fix it Right First Time', guaranteeing customer satisfaction through precise problem-solving.
  • Manage workload efficiently, completing jobs within allotted timeframes while providing regular updates on progress.
  • Maintain open communication with Team Leaders, Foremen, and Controllers regarding additional repairs or delays, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform overtime duties when required by Team Leaders, Foremen, or Controllers, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Accurately record oils and consumables used during repairs on Job Cards.
  • Handle customer vehicles with utmost care, ensuring safety and minimizing damage.
  • Raise parts requisitions in a timely manner, optimizing inventory management.
  • Complete warranty tasks diligently, including filling up warranty tags and storing them securely.
  • Seek approval from Team Leaders or Foremen before undertaking additional repairs or warranty jobs.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, adhering to strict safety procedures and wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Prioritize vehicle cleanliness and appearance, ensuring overhauls and shoes are kept in excellent condition.
  • Ensure accurate usage of materials drawn on Job Cards for respective vehicles.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A 2-year I.T.I certificate in Automobile or a 3-year Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Dealership environments, with at least 2 years as a Technician.
  • Physical fitness to perform demanding repair tasks.
