Job Title: Senior Corrosion Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Corrosion Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and developing projects covering material selection, chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring, protective coatings, cathodic protection, sour service material selection, and industrial water treatment.
  2. Utilizing various software related to corrosion and materials issues.
  3. Developing conceptual design options for corrosion mitigation and control systems, recommending and designing studies to evaluate and identify the most appropriate and cost-effective design concepts.
  4. Leading investigations of technical and commercial aspects of project work as related to corrosion mitigation and control systems according to project requirements.
  5. Reviewing and endorsing tender and contract documents related to corrosion mitigation and control projects.
  6. Endorsing equipment selections, including investigation and recommendation of suppliers and tender analysis.
  7. Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and quality standards.
  8. Acknowledging responsibility and accountability commensurate with the seniority of the position.
  9. Demonstrating strong communication/presentation skills and a very good command of both spoken and written English.
Requirements
  1. B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
  2. Higher Degree in Corrosion Engineering & Materials preferred.
  3. Certified NACE Specialist in any of the four available NACE Specializations.
  4. Minimum Years of Experience: 12 Years in corrosion control and mitigation in oil & gas processing facilities.
