As a Senior Planner, you will be part of the project management team and lead the planning function across one or multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Manage Master Programmes: Develop and manage the master programme for the project, ensuring it aligns with project objectives and timelines.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Ongoing monitoring and reporting of all programme-related activities, including contractor programmes and project controls.
- Contractor Programme Management: Proactive management of contractor's programmes, including detailed reviews and monitoring for conformance with project procedures.
- Permitting and Approvals: Develop and monitor the permitting and authority approvals process for the project, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- Baseline Programmes: Prepare baseline programmes and monitor progress against them.
- Reporting and Recovery: Prepare monthly reports and recovery plans, as well as weekly progress report submissions and quantity reports.
- Progress Updates: Provide the Project Manager with weekly progress updates, forecast completions, critical path and trend analyses.
- Change Impact Assessment: Consistent assessment of the impact of approved changes and any deviations from key project targets and milestones.
- Project Schedule Issues: Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Engineer, and Contractor to resolve project schedule issues.
- Contractor Claims: Review and analyze contractors' claims and prepare recommendations reports.
- Experience: 12+ years' relevant experience in project planning and management.
- Education: BSc in civil engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
- Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Experience: Must have considerable pre-contract and post-contract experience on major projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience of large buildings projects, good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
- Certifications: Primavera certification and working experience.
- BIM Experience: Experience with 4D BIM.
